The event was attended by the Assistant II for Economy and Development of the Sintang Regency Government, Niko Dimus, heads of relevant regional apparatuses (OPD), representatives of lecturers and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, and the participating students.
On that occasion, Vice Regent Florensius Ronny expressed his gratitude to the LPPM of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for choosing Sintang Regency as the location for the KKN program, which will take place over the next 40 days.
”To the village heads (lurah) where the KKN will take place, please look after and guide the participants who have traveled from afar. Hopefully, we can create a good impression and exchange ideas for a better, friendlier, and more advanced Sintang Regency,” said Florensius Ronny.
He stated that this KKN serves as a valuable opportunity for idealistic students to immerse themselves in the local community environment and culture.
”I encourage the KKN participants to seek information about Sintang Regency on the internet. Sintang Regency has an area of 21,635 km^2, comprising 14 districts and 391 villages,” explained Florensius Ronny. (FikA/*)
